The First Aid and Emergency programme from Bahçeşehir University (BAU) is a rigorous two-year paramedic-level health sciences vocational degree offered by university health services vocational schools across Turkey, specifically created to produce highly skilled pre-hospital emergency medical technicians who can work autonomously as team leaders on 112 ambulances, hospital emergency departments, workplace health stations, event medical teams, search-and-rescue organizations, and private ambulance services at a competence level far exceeding basic first-aid certificate holders.
