Primary Teaching (SEND) (QTS) (Hons) from University of Chichester, you will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the teaching profession, as you learn the fundamentals of the national curriculum to fully prepare you for working in primary schools.

The SEND pathway through the primary teaching offers additional modules to enhance students’ knowledge and understanding of SEND.

These will include critical thinking about how the school curriculum can be enriched through a better understanding of SEND and how to promote best principles in SEND.

Students will also have the option of undertaking part of their school experience in a SEND specialist setting.

If you want to empower the learning and lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and make a real difference to the lives of their families, then this course is for you.

You will develop a deep knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice, exploration of the National Curriculum and key pedagogies and theories in meeting the needs of individual learners with SEND.
