As a Washington Accord accredited program, graduates are qualified for employment in Computer and Autonomous Systems Engineering roles in many other countries. Under the supervision of experienced engineers, graduates will be capable of holding positions with significant responsibility for designing driverless vehicles, autonomous aerial vehicles, Artificial Intelligence Systems, computer hardware design, robotic and automated systems, and embedded systems.

Specific roles may include, but are not limited to: design of embedded computing technologies in public transport systems such as hardware design for imaging systems like vehicle number plate recognition; design of consumer computing hardware, wearable devices, smart electricity meters, personal computers, consumer electronics, driverless vehicles in industry, automated manufacturing processes and aerospace projects.
