- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid ordinary-type passport and in good health both mentally and physically.
- Be an academically excellent holder of high school diploma or its equivalent with GPA 3.0 or above.
- For Science and Engineering programs, applicants are qualified in mathematics and physics in high school. Some programs also require computer programming courses record.
- For Economics and Management programs, applicants are qualified in mathematics in high school.
- For Arts programs, applicants must have related academic background and are required to submit the portfolio (such as paintings, story scripts, short movies, etc.).
