Overview

The Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Technology (BIDT) program at the University of New Brunswick Saint John campus is a new, two-year post-diploma bachelor’s degree program that will open doors to graduates in a wide variety of industrial or public sectors.The BIDT program focuses on the study of equipment, information, human behaviour and modes of communication to develop processes that work, with an emphasis on applying existing technologies to real-world problems.UNB’s Saint John campus is located near well-established oil and gas facilities, transport companies, a large hospital, public utilities and a mix of heavy and light industries, offering valuable opportunities for students for experiential learning.Develop practical skills through laboratory work, field studies, and real-life work experience. The capstone project will provide the opportunity to apply hands-on skills, fostering experimental, design, and analytical capabilities.The program has been carefully designed for a college diploma holder to be successful in entering third- and fourth-year university courses.
