Thanks to their command of a foreign language (English), graduates of the Department of International Relations have the opportunity of pursuing a career in a variety of fields. These field are as follows in brief:
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs in particular, and all the other Ministries, undersecretariats, public enterprises and development agencies,
- A variety of positions ranging from experts-inspectors to district governors and civil servants,
- A great range of employment in private sector, and foreign trade in particular, and
- Non-governmental organisations and international organisations.

General requirements
- Online Application Form
- High school diploma or certificates of graduation
- “Certificate of Equivalence” to be issued by the Turkish Ministry of Education or the Turkish Embassy in the relevant country which proves the equivalence of foreign higher education diplomas to their Turkish counterparts. If the candidates meet the application requirements, only high school diplomas or certificates of graduation of foreign students who have received high school education in Turkey and reside in Turkey will be sufficient.
- Passport copy
- Certificate of C1 Level in Turkish for those who apply to the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry and B1-B2 for other Turkish departments.
