Overview

This Computer Systems Engineering (Hons) programme offered at the Bangor University is accredited as meeting the Engineering Council’s UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC). Graduates with good degree results are automatically eligible to become Associate Members of the IET and full members after gaining industrial experience. You will be eligible to apply to become an Incorporated Engineer and, with further study, can progress to Chartered status.

Careers

Graduates of our BEng Computer Systems Engineering are in high demand. Employers recognise them to be excellent critical thinkers who can quickly and clearly navigate business, computing and engineering problems.

Recent BEng graduates have gone on to work in a variety of roles, for example, as a software team leader, computer manager, internet/database developer, systems integration architect and infrastructure and control systems security officer.
