You will also analyse what happens when the brain is damaged or impaired, for example, after head injury or stroke, and how to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate patients.

Psychology has been taught at Bangor University since 1963, attracting students and faculty from around the globe. Careers

A career in neuropsychology can be challenging, rewarding and diverse: in research, testing, diagnosis and/or treatment, engaging with patients of all ages and conditions or focusing on a particular group, such as children, the elderly or those suffering from Alzheimer’s.

As a graduate of this BPS accredited psychology degree, you have the option to pursue any of the main psychological professions. You’ll be particularly well placed to support people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases, tumours, strokes, traumatic and brain injuries.

Previous graduates from the Psychology with Neuropsychology (Hons) course offered at the Bangor University have gone into a wide range of career paths including but not limited to, researchers and academics, data scientists in industry and assistant and clinical psychologists.
