Overview
In addition to Kadir Has University's Political Science and International Relations core courses such as Introduction to Political Science, Introduction to International Relations, International Politics, Comparative Politics, Law, History, Sociology, and Economics, which form the foundational components of Political Science and International Relations, our faculty members offer a wide range of courses, including Turkish Politics, International Organizations, Current Issues in World Politics, the Middle East, US Foreign Policy, Security Studies, and Political Philosophy, covering a wide range of research areas. This course aims to provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective.
Qualifications
1- Having conceptual and theoretical background in political science, international relations, political history, international law and social sciences in general; the ability to put into practice the knowledge in these fields.
2- The ability to detect, define, collect, analyze and interpret data on political-social or international problems: the ability to apply scientific methods appropriate to these purposes.
3- Ability to define a social/political/economic issue as an interdisciplinary problem, make comparisons and relate it to different fields.
4- Having a comparative, analytical and interdisciplinary perspective to understand and interpret the similarities and differences between human societies and political systems.
5- Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of updating knowledge, lifelong learning and producing creative solutions for personal and professional development, taking into account the variability of international and domestic dynamics.
6- Following new methods in accessing and producing information; being aware of the necessity of lifelong learning.
7- Having awareness of professional, public ethics and social responsibility.
8- Developing the capacity to develop cooperation areas and provide support with public, private sector and non-governmental organizations.
9- Leadership, persuasion and multi-faceted analysis skills.
10- Ability to communicate effectively in Turkish and English, both verbally and in writing
