Students admitted on the basis of university entrance examinations are required to complete six years of study to qualify for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).

Career Prospects:

After the successful completion of a one-year internship in an approved hospital in Hong Kong, medical graduates become registered medical practitioners, and subsequently specialists after another four to six years of specialty training. Some may opt for an alternative path by joining academia or becoming a clinician-scientist, combining clinical practice with medical education and scientific research to advance medical development and improve patient care.
