Overview
The International Trade and Finance course from Istanbul Gedik University department was established in order to educate potential management candidates who have contributed to the creation of international competitive strategy the sectors located in the Turkey economy.It also aims to train qualified professional staffs that increase the competitiveness of public and private sector organizations in the international arena in line with economic policy objectives.
In the process of globalization, international finance issues have gained great importance in an environment where economic integrations are intensified and competition conditions are intensified. Developments in the Turkey and world are increasing the demand for human resource with international skills and contemporary knowledge. In this context, students are offered courses on the basic topics of Business and Economics disciplines, International Trade and Finance, International Relations, Law, Entrepreneurship and the international dimensions of these fields.
In today’s world where University-Business World collaboration comes to the fore, our students are given the opportunity to establish relations with the business world; our students are also supported by internships and projects.
Career opportunities:
The department graduates can take part in foreign trade departments, companies ‘foreign trade departments, import and export departments, banks’ foreign transactions services, customs, customs clearance companies, logistics companies and insurance companies. In addition, they have the opportunity to work in all public and private sector institutions where graduates of the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration, Economics and Administrative Sciences.

General requirements
Students are required to certify their English Proficiency in order to start programs offered in English. Students who get the minimum valid score in our proficiency test or in one of the international exams recognized by the senate may start their studies in their field.
Passport and its notarized Turkish translation
Official document signifying successful completion of high school – diploma in many countries (it must be translated if it is not in English or Turkish)
Official high school transcript national or internationally recognized test results or provisional results if not available by the time of submission (it must be translated if it is not in English or Turkish).
English or Turkish language proficiency test results if available.
You will be given an Offer (Invitation) Letter and will be asked to transfer 1000$ USD pre-payment amount to the given USD account.
