Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques, you’ll have the option to enhance your skills through a non-compulsory work placement, supervised by industry professionals. Holmesglen supports students throughout this process, Students must fulfil immunisation requirements, including flu vaccines, covid-19 vaccines, and other immunisations. Additionally, they require a current police check and a Volunteer Working with Children's Check if they want to be placed.

- Educational Background:
- Good passes in Year 12 or an equivalent qualification from overseas
- English Proficiency:

- Age Requirement:
- Students must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of the course.
- Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills:
- Proficiency in language, literacy, and numeracy skills is necessary for participation in a certificate-level qualification, as assessed via BKSB.
- BKSB exit levels of 3 in numeracy and literacy are required.
