The goal of the Translation and Interpreting programme from Beykent University is to prepare students for professional roles in communication across cultures and languages, which is essential in our increasingly globalized world.

Career Opportunities

Students who have successfully completed their undergraduate studies in our department are eligible for Master’s Degree and Ph.D. programmes (thesis and non-thesis) offered by the Beykent University Instıtute of Graduate Studies. There is currently no Master’s Degree Programme in Translation Studies. However, a Master’s Degree programme (thesis) in English Language and Literature offered by the Beykent University Instıtute of Graduate Studies is currently available for the graduates who are especially interested in a Programme in English.

High school diploma or certificates of graduation

“Certificate of Equivalence” to be issued by the Turkish Ministry of Education or the Turkish Embassy in the relevant country which proves the equivalence of foreign higher education diplomas to their Turkish counterparts. If the candidates meet the application requirements, only high school diplomas or certificates of graduation of foreign students who have received high school education in Turkey and reside in Turkey will be sufficient.

Passport copy

Certificate of C1 Level in Turkish for those who apply to the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry and B1-B2 for other Turkish departments.
