Overview

The Leisure Sports programme from Klaipeda University includes a Pedagogical Studies module of 60 study credits for obtaining a physical education teacher's qualification. Students are obliged to choose one of three specializations: Basketball, Football, Sports Dances or Leisure sports specialization, all of which are prepared and implemented with Lithuanian and foreign social partners. This ensures the implementation of the latest educational technologies in the study process.

Career opportunities

Graduates will acquire a bachelor’s degree in sports and physical education teacher’s professional qualification. Graduates will be able to work as coaches in basketball clubs, sports and fitness specialists at sports and health centers, social organizations, public and private sports organizations, and as teachers in public and private schools.
