Overview

In order to achieve internationally recognized excellence within the activities of the Faculty of Dentistry, the Dental Medicine (Joint programme with University of Health Sciences - Turkey) course at Eastern Mediterranean University  aims at adopting an understanding of positive independent thinking within the framework of academic and ethical values, being student-centered in education, and paying attention to the satisfaction of its employees, meanwhile, working and providing services in harmony with its external stakeholders.

EMU Faculty of Dentistry offers quality teaching with an experienced teaching staff with international recognition and knowledge. Instructors provide a highly interactive atmosphere during classes and practical sessions and provide a rigorous and supportive educational environment to fully support students' academic, personal and professional development. Students are encouraged to learn about critical thinking and analysis as early as possible and are encouraged to use these skills and express their ideas freely and constructively.

Students receive structured training for research, learn to interpret evidence-based dentistry, and assist in research projects. Training is provided in a well-designed environment including most up to date scientific research and education laboratories.
