Overview
The Finance (Hons) course at University of Bath covers the fundamentals of finance, accounting and economics. You’ll also further develop your mathematical skills and explore business, society and law.

Graduates have an excellent record of success. 85% of our BSc Accounting and Finance (four year) graduates are working or studying 15 months after their course with an average salary of £31,000 (Discover Uni, 2025).
Recent employers include Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, KPMG and PwC.
Many of our graduates continue their studies and go into academic or research careers.
Both BSc Accounting and Management and BSc Finance are new courses and we don’t have any career data for them yet. But our graduates of comparable courses have an excellent record. 15 months after their course, our business and management graduates have an average salary of £33,500 - £7,500 higher than the UK average (Discover Uni, 2025).

- A*AA or A*A*B in three A levels including A* in Mathematics.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma - 36 points overall and 7, 6, 6 or 7, 7, 5 in three Higher Level subjects including 6 in either HL Mathematics.
- DDD in the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (RQF) plus A* in A level Mathematics.
- D*D*D in the Cambridge Technical Level 3 Extended Diploma plus A* in A level Mathematics.
- D* overall with grade A* in the core component in an Accounting or Finance T Level plus grade A* in A level Mathematics.
