Description
The bursary is awarded automatically according to the student’s assessed household income. The reduction is deducted from the student’s January or April accommodation fees, depending on when the University receives the household income assessment.
Benefits
£1,300 for students with an assessed household income between £30,000.01 and £42,875.
£750 for students with an assessed household income between £42,875.01 and £62,377.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the £1300 Accommodation Bursary, you must meet all of the following:
- you are a new first-year Home UK undergraduate student.
- you are registered on a full-time undergraduate degree course.
- you are a current student at the time of award and payment.
- you have been housed by the University.
- you have a household income assessment of between £30,000.01 and £42,875.

There is no application process for the Accommodation Bursary. Awards will be made provided the University has received an eligible household income assessment for you and you have been housed by the University.
