Overview

In the Biotechnology (Co-op) course at Fanshawe College, you'll dive into diverse topics such as cell biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, proteomics, biochemistry and bioinformatics.

Students will also get to learn and work in Fanshawe's Centre for Applied Research in Biotechnology (CARIB). This space features over 13,000 square feet filled with new biology, chemistry, instrumentation and physics teaching laboratories. Plus, there are biosafety level 2 tissue culture facilities and labs.

This programme includes paid co-operative work terms that provide students with vital industry experience before graduating.
