The BA in Philosophy and History (Hons) degree from The University of Wales Trinity Saint David graduates have entered a wide range of sectors including; Academia, Advocacy. Analyst work, Business, Government, Heritage (library, archives, museum, tourism), Education, Law, Media, NGOs and Charities.
Philosophy explores the big questions: Who are we? What is our place in the world? How should we live? What is reality? Philosophy approaches such questions through argument, but also through vision and imagination.
History explores many different political, social, economic, military and cultural aspects of history. It combines a study of change over time in broad sweeping survey modules introducing key aspects of the medieval and modern world, with more focused modules on topics such as Norman society and Crusades, the First World War and 1980s Britain.
