The University’s Royal Charter is the oldest of any university in Wales and England after the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. Our Lampeter campus was founded in 1822 and received its Royal Charter from King George IV in 1828. The Carmarthen campus was the first centre for teacher training in Wales established in 1848.

Eduroam (education roaming) is a wireless service that allows students, staff and faculty to use their own home institution's wireless credentials to access wireless network services when visiting any other eduroam affiliated institution without having to set up a guest account.

Trinity Saint David Students' Union is the hub of student activity on campus, offering everything to enhance your time at the University.
Every student who fully registers with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David automatically becomes a member of the Students’ Union and has access to all of its services.
Your SU will support you through your time at University by protecting your rights and amplifying your voice. Your SU works by bringing together students from across the University to campaign for positive change on your course, in your academic School, on your campus, and in your local community and beyond.
Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, Studyportals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
I really enjoyed studying in London. It is the most appropriate and amazing system. I met very nice and supportive people , friends, lecturers and university staff. My wish is to go again in London for my further studies of Marster’s degree!
The placement side of my course better prepared me for teaching in the real world. My time here was the best 3 years of my life!
