Overview
Dance (Hons) course at Middlesex University allows you to develop your professional skills by reflecting on creative practices and creating your own unique performances. You'll also have access to professional training facilities including four fully-equipped dance studios and a specialist dance theatre.
The main areas of study covers – technical training, creative practice, dance cultures, health and wellbeing, funding policies and practice and performance.
What you will gain
You will gain skills in technical and performance proficiency in dance contributing to a diverse range of creative processes, sophisticated interdisciplinary and collaborative practical engagement and how to apply safe dance practice in dance learning and teaching environments. You will be engaging with dance in diverse community contexts with inclusivity as central to the experience, presenting work through different modalities including the use of digital technology, build confidence in contributing to critical debates with informed opinions.
