You will gain 3D creation skills for creating compelling visuals for interactive games, virtual reality experiences, live events, and virtual production of TV shows and Films.
Along with the fundamental technical skills you will be gaining experience of production pipelines and workflows used professionally as well as problem solving skills and a deeper understanding of how 3D works to set you up for continued growth in your future career.
By the end of the 3D Animation for Games and Film (Hons) course at Middlesex University, you'll have learnt to use professional-standard software and equipment, collaborated on projects with students from other courses and developed an industry-ready showreel.

You will study the fundamental skills of creating 3D models, characters and worlds for use in Games or Film productions. You will learn asset creation techniques such as sculpting and 3D scanning, animation processes including keyframing and Motion Capture, texturing workflows including photorealism for visual effects and stylised texturing for games.
