The Incorporated Bachelor Stage One in BSc (Hons) Physics from University of Dundee International College covers both pure and applied physics. Develop a deep understanding of fundamental physics, from astronomical phenomena to quantum mechanics.

As the course progresses, you'll gain knowledge in classical physics as well as advancements in modern physics. At Level 4, you'll carry out a personal project involving practical experience in a research laboratory.

For example, you could develop optical techniques to examine cancerous tissue, or investigate the behaviour of positrons in solar cell materials to identify missing atom defects that degrade performance.

Physics at the University of Dundee has had a tremendous impact on the modern world. We paved the way for the creation of LCD screens in the 70s and 80s. More recently, we have helped to understand how extra-solar planets form, and helped build optical diagnostic devices for CERN.

The IS1 is the first year of a four year International Incorporated Bachelors. And its designed to strengthen your English language abilities and introduce core concepts and knowledge required at university study level.

Once you have successfully completed your studies you will continue the remaining stages of your degree directly with the University of your choice.
