Education is offered by Western University - Canada. The program comprises four consecutive semesters, each involving 14 weeks of course work, field work, and practicum.

Orientation takes place just prior to the Labour Day weekend. Classes begin immediately after Labour Day and conclude at the end of December the following year.

The basic program requirement for Teacher Candidates is 6.75 – 8.0 credits of course work (depending on Program Stream) and 2.00 credits of Field Experiences including Practicum. One credit of course work is normally equivalent to 72 hours of class time plus additional out-of-class-work.
