Overview
The Marine Electrical and Electronic Engineering Programme Objective at VILNIUS TECH is to prepare highly qualified electro-technical engineers, in line with International Maritime Organization (IMO) conventions, who will be able to:
Apply engineering, electrical, natural, and environmental sciences to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of ship electrical, electronic, and power systems, as well as propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Read, draw, and analyze electrical diagrams using modern information technologies.
Research service activities, analyze performance results, and make engineering decisions that deliver both technical reliability and economic efficiency
Plan, manage, and control electromechanical department operations on board
Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ship electromechanical systems, selecting appropriate tools and equipment while complying with maritime law, international conventions, and safety standards.
