Overview

Throughout the Psychology and Marketing , B.Sc. course from Heriot-Watt University Dubai you will explore courses in all core areas of Psychology, including biological, cognitive, social, developmental, individual differences, conceptual and historical issues, and research methods, giving you a comprehensive foundation in the discipline of Psychology. 

You will also study foundational marketing courses in your first two years that will introduce you to the principles of the discipline. In your third and fourth year, you will take more specialised courses which will allow you to explore areas of marketing in depth. 

Our BSc Psychology and Marketing programme offers you the opportunity to travel to Edinburgh to experience studying the programme in a different environment and culture. You can travel for one semester or one academic year, and we recommend that you do this in year two or the first part of year three.

What you'll learn

Throughout the programme you’ll undergo training in research methods and statistical analysis, culminating in a dissertation in the fourth year, which will run across both semesters of your final year. At all stages of the programme, there will be opportunities to take optional courses, allowing you to tailor your studies to meet your own interests. The precise choice of courses at each stage will change over time, adapting to your interests and the research specialisms of academic staff.
