Your Physics With Particle Physics And Cosmology Experience
- A flexibly structured Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology (Hons) degree from Swansea University means you have the opportunity to study abroad for a year or work in industry for a year, either locally, nationally or overseas.
- You will study from a selection of modules that could include astronomy and cosmology, nuclear physics, the quantum world and climate physics.
- Research links with CERN and the anti-matter work of the ALPHA Collaboration ensure that our teaching is informed by the latest research. Students may have the opportunity to undertake a final year Masters project at CERN in Geneva.
- You will have daily contact with approachable teaching staff through lectures, laboratory work, feedback sessions, projects and small group sessions.

Our graduates have become demand forcasters, electromagnetic signature analysts, cost draftsman, patent examiners and software engineers in sectors which include government research, aerospace, defence, energy, engineering and space exploration.

- A levels: grades ABB-BBB including Maths and Physics.
- Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are as for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
- BTEC: DDM plus A-level grade B in Physics. Applicants may also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of mathematics at A Level.
- Scottish Highers: ABBBC to include B in Mathematics.
- International Baccalaureate: 32 overall with 5 in Higher Level Maths and Physics.
