General requirements
- A levels: grades AAB-ABB including Maths and Physics.
- Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are as for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
- BTEC: DDD plus A-level grade A in Physics. Applicants will also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of mathematics at A-level.
- Scottish Highers: ABBBC to include A in Mathematics.
- International Baccalaureate: 34 overall with 6 in Higher Level Mathematics and Physics.
- IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent English test.
