The Security Management degree programme from Berlin School of Economics and Law deals with the challenges facing a modern risk society and adopts an interdisciplinary approach to the situation which incorporates aspect of Law, Economics and the Social Sciences.
The degree programme is characterized by the combination of a rigorous academic and practical approach. For example, students deal with the contexts from which a range of dangerous situations develop; they learn to analyse risks and acquire and develop a range of communication co-operation, conflict and management skills pertinent to the tasks which they will face in a professional context.

Graduates of the programme are awarded the internationally-recognized Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) qualification. This leads not only to professional entry, but also qualifies its holder for a post-graduate degree such as the Master’s degree programme International Security Management.
