Overview

The Community and Justice Services course from Conestoga College focuses on understanding justice through a lens of social equity and has been designed to provide an overall base for a variety of careers in corrections and criminal justice. In this programme, you will be exposed to the many complexities that are facing modern day correctional system. Through a combination of theory and simulation-based experiences, you will experience a person-centered approach to the criminal justice system.

Careers

Graduates are typically employed in a wide variety of entry-level positions in the field of criminal justice with attention to intervention and re-integration. These careers may be based in youth facilities; federal and provincial correctional institutions; educational institutions; justice agencies; residential facilities and community based agencies, programmes, and services.
