Overview
The Business Administration , Graduate Certificate from University of the Fraser Valley is a part-time program that gives you a solid understanding of the fundamentals of business administration.
The UFV Business Administration certificate provides essential grounding in business law, accounting, microeconomics, and industry-leading productivity software. A selection of electives allows you the freedom to explore your own areas of interest or specialize in one key field. You may also complete courses in public or municipal administration at other institutions or by correspondence, and transfer your credits to UFV.
In as little as three semesters, you could complete your certificate and be ready to enter the workforce as a skilled administrator. Or if you already work full-time and want to upgrade your credentials, you may take up to seven years to complete your requirements.
The Business Administration certificate can also open the door to further studies to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration, at UFV or elsewhere.

- B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent, or minimum 19 years of age before the first day of classes.
- Prerequisites for MATH 140.
Option 2: University entrance (for students who have attended some post-secondary school)
Prerequisites for MATH 140.
One of the following:
- Completion of a minimum of 9 credits in courses numbered at the 100 level and above, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 on all credits attempted.
- Completion of a post-secondary career or technical diploma (minimum of two years post-secondary credit) from a recognized Canadian or International post-secondary institution, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 (equated to the UFV grading scheme), calculated on all courses taken.
- Completion of a three- or four-year Bachelor's degree from a recognized Canadian or International institution, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (equated to the UFV grading scheme).
