In the Business (Online) course from Centennial College Students will gain knowledge and skills in contemporary concepts, theories and business practices that are related to the functional areas of business: accounting, finance, human resources, marketing and operations.

To ensure students are ready for the modern business environment, they learn the essential business skills of effective communication, customer service, teamwork, using technology, demonstrating positive attitudes and behaviors, being adaptable and responsible, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Courses in the Business Online program are offered asynchronously. Some courses may provide students an opportunity to meet synchronously online each week with their professor (optional attendance).

Completion of formal assessments in some courses may require proctoring. Proctoring methods vary based on course delivery mode and course objectives. Proctoring information and options will be shared in class.
