Concordia University Montréal's Therapeutic Recreation BA program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, and evaluate recreation programs that enhance the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social functioning of individuals with disabilities, illnesses, or other barriers to participation. Through a combination of theoretical coursework, practical experiences, and hands-on training, students learn about human development, disability studies, leisure education, activity planning, and therapeutic interventions, preparing them to work in a variety of settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long-term care facilities, and community organizations.
