Overview
The Business Technology and Communications programme at Munster Technological University is a practical, skills-focused programme, exposing students to the most up-to-date technologies which will enable graduates to work as individuals or in a collaborative team across business disciplines.
Students will develop an understanding of business theory and practices and attain a wide range of fundamental skills including web design, spreadsheets, accounting, marketing, management, human resource management (HRM), management information systems, effective communication skills, public relations, digital marketing, social media, supply chain management, and more.

Programme Structure
- Technology is embedded throughout the programme and students will significantly enhance their IT Skills including the use of MS Office applications and other collaborative technologies such as Zoom, Slack and Canva
- Students’ ability to summarise information and deliver effective individual and team presentations to live audiences will be developed to a high standard
- Students will significantly enhance their IT and Communication skills throughout each year of the programme, along with learning in areas such as management, marketing, and accounting, in preparation for their internship in year 3
