You can go to the Everyman Palace Theatre and the Granary Theatre or the lovely Cork Opera House.

You can choose between many multi-cultural restaurants, like Chinese and Thai restaurants, French patisseries, Indian buffets, and Middle Eastern kebab houses, but you should not miss trying out local traditions in food: crubeens, tripe and drisheen.

Cork hosts several festivals throughout the year, most popular are Cork Film Festival and the Cork Jazz Festival.

In terms of bars and night clubs, you have a plethora of places to choose from and you should not miss the occasion to learn or at least have fun trying the Irish dancing style.

Weather Cork

Cork has a mild and changeable weather, with abundant rainfall and almost never having extreme temperatures. Cork is a generally foggy city, with fog occurring mostly during mornings and especially in the winter time. Temperatures in December –January are 8 °C (46 °F), rarely falling below 0 °C (32 °F). Hottest months are July and August with 18 – 19 °C (65 – 66 °F).
