Overview
The Sports Performance (Hons) degree from University of Gloucestershire is designed to offer extensive practical experience in real-world and research settings, promoting reflection and critical thinking. Whilst technologies are central to this curriculum, they do not appear standalone, but they are underpinned by the fundamental principles of biomechanics, nutrition, physiology and psychology.

Graduates can land roles in performance coaching, performance analysis, sports scouting, sports science at professional level, fitness coaching, nutritionists, lecturer/teachers, data analysis (non-sport) and disability sports.

General requirements
- 104 – 112 UCAS tariff points, BCC – BBC at A levels, MMM – DMM at BTEC, or a Merit in your T-Level.
- English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required.
- The university welcomes applications from mature students (aged 21 and over) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants, although some entry requirements may still apply for Professionally Accredited Courses. We accept Access to Higher Education Diplomas and make offers on an individual basis.
