Course Overview
Aims of this Vocal Performance program at The University of Wales Trinity Saint David include producing graduates capable of assuming a position in the music profession, developing technical excellence in performance and practice through vocational training and to provide a theoretical basis, including musicianship, stagecraft, and languages.
Students completing this programme will have advanced vocal performance skills alongside an awareness of performance technologies, recording techniques, session musician skills, vocal arrangements and working in collaborative contexts to create work, as well as an ability to work with a director and/or musical director.
A distinctive feature of this programme is the one-to-one principal study tuition currently offered weekly. These create personalised learning opportunities in which you can shape your learning focus around your interests and career aspirations. These also provide valuable, additional opportunities for staff to engage with students on a pastoral level.

General requirements
- 120 UCAS points and
- an audition/interview.
- Typically a minimum of two A levels and supporting AS level qualifications, or equivalent. There may be some specific course requirements to be taken into account.
- The University warmly welcomes applications from students studying Key Skills qualifications, but they are not likely to be included in the terms of the offer made. The University will accept a maximum of 20 points for Level 3 Key Skills.
- We recognise a wide range of international qualifications, including the International, French and European Baccalaureates.
- If English is not your first language, the university will require evidence that you have the required English to complete a research degree; your application will not be processed until this has been received.
