Aims of Education

In the era of localization and globalization, the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering program at University of Ulsan aims to foster future-oriented civil and environmental experts who can creatively cope with sustainable development and environmental preservation of the local community, the nation and the international community.

To cultivate basic skills such as necessary leadership, management mind, service spirit, ethics, responsibility, etc. as civil environment engineer and to cultivate effective communicative ability.

Develop basic theory, data analysis and application skills so that engineering problems in various civil engineering environments can be actively dealt with.

Cultivate creative adaptability to various problems such as environment-friendly design, process management, and complex academic problem-solving measures for sustainable development and preservation of the global environment.

Applicants should satisfy the following condition.

An applicant with non-Korean nationality and both of their parents having non-Korean nationality
High school graduates(or expected graduates) in Korea or overseas must hold or expect to have high school qualifications. As a minimum, an applicant must have a qualification considered to be equivalent to a Year 12 qualification (completion of high school) in Korea.
