Food Nutrition University of Ulsan

Overview

The Food Nutrition program at University of Ulsan serves both undergraduate and graduate degree in food science and nutrition. The undergraduate program provides students in-depth knowledge of basic food chemistry, biochemistry, food hygiene and safety as well as advanced curriculum such as food science, nutritional science and food service management. After completing undergraduate degrees, our students typically enter into the field of the healthcare settings, food industry, and graduate programs.

Aims of Education

• As future experts in food nutrition, students will be well versed in professional ethics and fosters adaptability and cooperation for practical work
• To acquire major knowledge and develop application skills on the basis of basic scientific knowledge. 

• It fosters the ability to comprehensively approach and solve problems directly related to national nutrition and health.

• Nutritionists/nutrition teachers at elementary, middle and high schools, clinical dietician at hospitals, or as nutritionists/dietary instructors at the Children's Food and Nutrition Support Centres
