Sustainable and Circular Economy-Based Tourism BSc
The programme is designed to train competent professionals with a deep understanding of (eco-) tourism. By the end of your studies, you will be able to navigate the workings of circular economies, understand both profit- and non-profit-oriented actors in the tourism sector, and apply systems-thinking and circular-economy strategies to address local needs, as outlined by destination marketing principles.

1st Semester: Mathematical Foundations of Economics, Business Law, Macroeconomics, Business Communication, EU Studies, Psychology, Social Relations of Business, Learning and Self-Knowledge.
2nd Semester: Accounting, Microeconomics, Fundamentals of Natural Sciences, Circular Economy, Sustainable Tourism – Nature-Based Attractions, Eco- and Adventure Tourism.
3rd Semester: Management, Statistics, Tourism Security, Sustainability in Marketing, Economics of Sustainability, Guidelines of Sustainable Tourism.
4th Semester: Organizational Sustainability, Sustainable Transport, Sustainable Communities, Marketing of Sustainable Products, Sustainable Events, ICT and Digital Tourism. 5th Semester: Problem-Solving Practice I, HR in Circular Business, Renewable Energy in Tourism, Regional Analysis, Systems Thinking.
6th Semester: Problem-Solving Practice II, National Parks, Design Thinking, Product Development, Circular Urban Solutions, Project Management.
7th-8th Semesters: Internship I & II, Thesis Work.
