It offers the necessary tools to solve problems in almost every subject, from science and engineering to social sciences. There is a great need for qualified graduates in the field of mathematics in our country, which strives to catch up with modern technology.

Overview

Gebze Technological University's Mathematics department includes both mathematics education and abstract and applied mathematics research. The department provides undergraduate, graduate and doctoral education to a wide range of students from different academic backgrounds.

The Department of Mathematics aims to conduct research at an international level, to train scientists in all fields of mathematics by providing undergraduate and graduate education and training at high standards, and to provide support to other departments of our institute on the basis of courses and consultancy.
