Gebze Technological University, Department of Physics was established in 1994 and provides education at undergraduate, master's and doctorate levels. The department, which started accepting undergraduate students in 2002, follows an experimental-oriented undergraduate program with its advanced undergraduate student laboratories and a team experienced in experimental studies.
