Overview

Mechanical Engineering department from Gebze Technological University, which has laboratories equipped with the experience gained in Master's and Doctoral programs for many years and academic staff with doctorates from distinguished domestic and international universities, launched the Mechanical Engineering (100% English) Undergraduate Program in the 2017-2018 academic year.

Overview

The curriculum implemented in our department has been prepared at an interdisciplinary level in accordance with European ECTS standards and MÜDEK requirements. Our students are offered the opportunity to pursue double majors and minors, and support is provided for studying abroad through Erasmus+, Farabi and Mevlana student exchange programs.

Our department works primarily in defense, aviation and IT centers located around Gebze and Istanbul; It is located in the heart of 3 Technoparks, 18 Organized Industrial Zones and 35 R&D Centers. Therefore, in addition to undergraduate and graduate education, it also continues comprehensive research to meet industrial needs.
