The mission of B-Arch program at Government College University Faisalabad is to provide the students with most creative, innovative and latest knowledge of Architecture. A balance of creativity and functionality shall be a main focal point to be instilled in the students. Moreover, the program shall focus on the training the students in a way that they become good architects and better human in future. The mission of B.Sc. Architectural Engineering Technology is to train the students in most technical way in terms of Architecture design and execution alike. The courses in this programs focus practical and applied Architecture Engineering Technology. Along with theoretical knowledge of the program.

Key Facts

The main objective of the Architecture program is to educate and train students to become professionally sound and creative architects and to prepare them further for higher studies. Teaching in the department is focused on enhancing creative abilities, critical thinking, professional competence and ethical practice. It is a 5-year (Ten Semesters) program of studies leading to a professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch.). Students registered in this program will also have the option to gain specialization in future as indicated below.

The program of study is highly demanding and only those students are recommended to apply who are willing to work long hours. Furthermore, significant components of studies involve fieldwork, where students are required to visit construction sites, conduct field surveys, and join out of station study tours. B.Arch. degree requirements also include 16 weeks of internship in a professional establishment, which would typically take place during summer vacations.

General requirements

The maximum age limit for the eligibility is 24 years for Morning and 26 years for replica program. However, no age limit will be for candidates of private affiliated institutes.
The candidates with at least 45% marks in intermediate (FA/FSc/ICom/ICS)/A Level examination or equivalent are eligible to apply for all programs except for those where restrictions are imposed by an external regulatory body/councils.
For Bachelor of Engineering Technologies programs at least, 50% marks are required in the intermediate examination or equivalent as per the requirement of their respective councils.
Admission will be granted strictly on merit i.e. on the basis of the 10% matric and 90% marks obtained in FA/FSc/ICom/ICS/A Level examination or equivalent.
Entry test is compulsory for admission in all programs
