Prospective candidates need to possess a high level of research competency and a strong foundation in theoretical work; they should have a demonstrated ability to focus on a defined topic and to sustain an argument.

In general, students who have completed the requirements of a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree (or an approved equivalent degree) and achieved at least a distinction average may apply to undertake the Bachelor of Creative Arts Honours degree in their major study area.

Admission to Honours is by recommendation of the relevant Honours Coordinator and approval by the Head of Students of the Faculty, as well as acceptance by an academic supervisor/s in the discipline.
