The faculty members of the Department of Chemical Engineering have always been at the forefront of the developments in Hacettepe University.

Key facts

This building, specifically designed for process engineering, has an "interactive" organizational structure. This allows first-year students and the most senior faculty members to easily interact with each other in the same space and with the same resources.

In addition to the main building, our department also has an annex (K5 Block ground floor) and includes 1 chemical engineering student laboratory, 2 computer laboratories with a total of 39 computers, 17 research laboratories open to visits and studies by all undergraduate and graduate students, 5 general-purpose laboratories, 9 classrooms, and 1 library. Our department has been providing education entirely in English since 1997.

General requirements

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish.

Exam Scores: SAT or ACT scores must be dated in 2018 or 2019. Applicants can submit the PDF print or photocopy of their scores for application.

Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is TR), must submit a certificate of identity register.

Choice of interview and Skype name: a letter written as a Word document by the applicant, indicating his/her choice of interview (face-to-face or online), and their Skype names.
In order to be considered for this program, secondary education or an equivalent overseas program has to be completed and for national applicants, enough points should be achieved on the national university entrance exam, score type MF.
