Key Features

The department also regularly organizes theater events, conferences and cultural trips from time to time. The plays that are staged by the students of our department every year are of great interest to the students and staff of our university.
Teaching including popular culture, women's literature, media, ethnic minority studies, colonization and post-colonial studies is implemented in the department. In-class discussions, term papers prepared by the students and in-class studies are as important as the information given by the lecturers.

General requirements

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish.

Exam Scores: SAT or ACT scores must be dated in 2018 or 2019. Applicants can submit the PDF print or photocopy of their scores for application.

Applicants who hold dual citizenship (one of which is TR), must submit a certificate of identity register.

Choice of interview and Skype name: a letter written as a Word document by the applicant, indicating his/her choice of interview (face-to-face or online), and their Skype names.
All qualifying students are required to take an English Proficiency Test or demonstrate competence in English.
