Overview

Hacettepe University's Department of Mining Engineering has a distinguished place among the mining engineering departments in Turkey, and aims at bringing out engineers knowledgeable in extraction and beneficiation ores, capable of using computers and possessing good social qualifications.

Key Features

Due to the discipline and the area of interests of Mining Engineering being very wide, there are elective courses in the department which will provide more information to the students in the subjects they prefer.
There are mining, rock mechanics, marble technologies, ventilation, mineral processing and chemical analysis laboratories in our department. In these laboratories, all tests are performed according to the standards and various services are offered regarding mineral processing tests, underground and open pit mining and tunneling.

A certified copy of Secondary Education Certificate/High School Diploma and its translation by a sworn translator in case it is in a language other than English or Turkish.

Exam Scores: SAT or ACT scores must be dated in 2018 or 2019. Applicants can submit the PDF print or photocopy of their scores for application
