Overview
You will acquire a solid foundation of knowledge in international finance, marketing, trade, and management. In addition to a broad-based business study, you will complete courses on global issues in management such as trade, competition, markets, organizational design, information technology, and human resource management. The impact of globalization on all businesses is explored.
When a Business Administration - International Business Specialization from American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland student successfully completes the Dual Degree program, the student will graduate, in their chosen specialty, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from AUS and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from TU. Tiffin University has US Higher Learning Commission accreditation, which is recognized by most ministries of education.
Career:
The Management curriculum is designed to provide skills and competencies necessary for the world of work in the 21st century. Students complete the courses in the Management Core (9 hours) covering different functional areas and undertake an in-depth study in an area of specialization (21 hours). The curriculum takes the approach of total development of the individual, placing emphasis on personal as well as professional growth. It prepares students for both a career and for graduate studies.
Emphasis is on global issues in management such as trade, competition, markets, organizational design, information technology, and human resource management. The impact of globalization on all businesses is explored. Students are strongly encouraged to take at least one year of foreign language study or pass a language proficiency examination and to study abroad for a semester.

General requirements
- Candidates that have completed a Swiss Professional or Specialized Maturity need to undergo a complementary examination in order to be eligible for admission into the Bachelor program. Candidates in this situation are kindly invited to refer to the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), which is the institution responsible for the examination;
- In the case of international applicants, a foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificate must correspond substantially to the Swiss Maturity Certificate in regards to school subjects, number of hours, and length of schooling. The recognition of foreign school-leaving certificates is based on the Recommendations for the assessment of foreign upper secondary school-leaving certificates of the Rectors' Conference of the Swiss Universities (CRUS), in alignment with the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region (ETS No. 165).

Funding
AUS offers partial scholarships covering up to 20% of Tuition Fees under the condition that the student will be engaged in administrative activities with AUS without impacting the academic schedule of the student. Should the student not meet this condition, the institution reserves the right to revoke the scholarship for the next academic term.
AUS is partnered with Cashare in order to provide student loans intended to be used to cover only the tuition fee and will be given directly to AUS for a limited duration of 24 months, under the name of the student. The student will start repaying their loan on a monthly basis, with an interest rate of 7.9% as soon as they start their studies with the institution.
