- They have the necessary skills to conduct independent psychological research utilizing both their cumulative knowledge and applying appropriate research methods (qualitative/quantitative) (They generate research questions using their psychological knowledge, use both scientific problem solving and critical thinking approaches, and interpret the results gathered).
- They acquire the necessary skills for data collection, analysis using appropriate statistical methods, interpretation, and reporting.
- They have the necessary skills to report study results in the proper scientific format.
- They are competent in using information and communication technologies to access and disseminate information.
- They are knowledgeable in terms of legislation and/or professional and ethical values in the practice of psychology.
- They acquire basic observation and interview techniques knowledge/skills.
- They understand that differences in people, such as age, sex, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, disability and socio-economic status, should not be a cause of prejudice.
- They generate research questions using their psychological knowledge; they use scientific problem-solving approach and interpret the results.
- They participate in both scientific research that contributes to the development of psychology and in activities that benefit society at large.
- They are competent in communicating their knowledge of psychology, thoughts about, and proposed solutions to issues in psychology, in both written and verbal form, with individuals and institutions.
- They acquire the necessary skills to share their data-based findings and/or proposed solutions with both experts and non-experts, regarding studies conducted in the field of psychology.
- They are competent in following information and interacting with colleagues using B1-level English, the dominant language in psychology literature.
- They are knowledgeable about different sectors.
- They are knowledgeable about issues regarding environmental, economic, and social sustainability while being able to interpret how sustainability is manifested in different fields.

- Passport
- Diploma: Official document signifying successful completion of high school – diploma in many countries (if it is not in English or Turkish, it must be translated)
- Transcripts: Official high school transcripts national or internationally recognized test results or provisional results if not available by the time of submission (including the Grading Scale).
- English language proficiency test results if available.
- Statement of Motivation: You will be asked to prepare an essay explaining why you want to attend Özyeğin University and what your goals are. This essay should not be longer than two pages. It can be prepared as a “Word” or “PDF” document, which you will upload. (Strong "Motivation letter" will increase your chance of getting a scholarship or even increase it)
